Affiliation Mentorship - Services The Kinsmen Sports Centre Physical Therapy Clinic has a strong affiliation with the University of Alberta and has a commitment to the clinical education of the graduate students. The Kinsmen Sports Centre is pleased to offer clinical placements for the University Physical Therapy students. Our very experienced team of Physical Therapists facilitate the students’ learning. Our specialty placement is private practice outpatient orthopedics with a specialization in musculoskeletal and sports injuries. The student will be exposed to manual and manipulative therapy skills, exercise prescription, acupuncture and Intra-muscular stimulation. The Physical Therapists mentoring the students share their level of expertise in a manner which makes for a very positive learning experience.
