Lauren Lefaivre

Lauren Lefaivre graduated from the University of Alberta with her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2009 and joined the Kinsmen Sports Physical Therapy Clinic team soon after.  Prior, she completed a Bachelor of Science in 2006 at the University of Alberta.  She also continued in preparation for her physical therapy training, with one year of coursework in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta in 2006 & 2007.  

Lauren has her level one and two certification in Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.  She is currently completing her level three certification in the same program.

Lauren became certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2010.

Lauren has also added vestibular rehabilitation training to her skill set.  This is an excellent addition to the services available at the Clinic.

Lauren is actively involved in the Edmonton soccer community and has played competitive soccer for over 15 years.  During her time as a graduate student Lauren completed research focusing on injury prediction and prevention for athletes.  She possesses high interest in assessment, treatment, and prevention of sport injuries.
